Wilson Creek Trip Report

On April 18th I guided a group from Elon, NC on Wilson Creek  just two days after the creek was at flood stage. The water was still high, but it was clear, and the fish were on the feed. There were sporadic caddis and stonefly hatches throughout the day. I couldn’t have asked for better clients, they came knowing the conditions weren’t optimal, and they fished hard. They were rewarded for their persistence.

Cris, Jim, Brian, and Earnest.

If you haven’t fished Wilson Creek you should check it out, its not your typical Delayed Harvest stream. To book a trip call 828-446-5552.
